Player One, leading global publisher of games and content for mobile
phones, is delighted to announce the release of retro classic arcade
game Nebulus.
Originally published in the late 1980's for classic game platforms
including the ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64, Nebulus was a roaring
success and has been re-versioned for a variety of other games consoles
since.
Nebulus places the player in charge of a high tech frog
called Pogo who is an employee of Destruction Inc. Pogo's job is to
make it to the top of the eight illegal towers that were erected from
the bottom of the sea high up into the skies and destroy them whilst
tackling bizarre obstacles and enemies set to hinder him and throw him
back into the depths waiting below.
The mobile game version of
the game is easy to play but hard to master and features a highly
original game play mechanic. With eight extensive levels and a simple
yet effective 3D-style game play, Nebulus is perfectly suited to become
a major hit as a mobile phone game.
Pete Russell, Managing
Director, Player One commented: "Nebulus is the ultimate in “classic
platform' games and is sure to appeal to a wide range of mobile users.
Bringing
Nebulus to mobile further endorses our strategy of creating an exciting
variety of games for mobile gamers around the world."
Nebulus
will be available to download from the Vodafone Live and Orange World
wap portals or by simply texting NEBULUS to 87070* from the beginning
of July.
"Nebulus" is just one of a range of high quality
licensed titles set for release this year. Other releases this year
include "Rogue Trooper", "Freddie Flintoff All-Round Cricket", "Michael
Vaughan Cricket 06/07" and "Jenson Button Grand Prix" and "Frankie
Dettori Vodafone Derby".
