The company, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software, is a publisher of mature-rated video games including the hugely popular Grand Theft Auto series, the Wild West themed Red Dead Revolver, and the graphically violent Manhunt, as well as Max Payne, Smuggler's Run, and Bully. After the discovery of two hidden sexually explicit scenes in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the video game industry rating authority Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) slapped an "Adults Only" rating on the game.
