DOOM 3 patch (1.3) to be released for MAC

Aspyr Media has announced they will be releasing a free update for the
English version of DOOM 3 for Macintosh later this week.

The patch updates
DOOM 3 for Mac to version 1.3 -

DOOM 3 1.3 Mac Changes
- Preview of OpenAL audio support for 5.1 sound
- Better handling of keypad keys
- Fixed crashes with some mods
- Fixed crash on vid_restart
- Added PunkBuster anti-cheat support to multiplayer
- Better support for mods
- various PC bug fixes

This patch will be available as a free download later this week through
www.macgamefiles.com.
