Not content just to reward competitive
online golfers with virtual golf clubs, in-game currency in their
tournaments, OnNet USA Inc. is taking Shot-Online to the next level.
Almost $2,000 in total cash prizes will be offered for the top four finishers every
time through the First Shot-Online Professional Tournament, a new bi-monthly
recurring tournament.
The first of the Shot-Online Professional Tournaments will begin February 17
at 12:00 AM to February 20 at 12:00 AM (CST). Since this tournament will
only be open to players of semi-pro rank or higher, the course where the
tournament will be played upon is the demanding "Abel Plena" course and the
entry fee for one try is 1,000,000 NG (Shot-Online's in-game currency). To
add to the challenge, players will only be permitted to swing their golf
club in-game once per stroke, without a practice shot. Players may enter
only with their highest-level character within their account, and can enter
only twice. The best score taken from all scores will be entered into the
final tallies.
The tournament prize structure is as follows:
1st Place - $1,000
2nd Place - $500
3rd Place - $200
4th Place - $100
