3D Realms' George Broussard hints the much-awaited shooter is standing on the verge of gettin' replicated; 360 achievement list unveiled.

With the Prey demo just hours away from its world premiere on GameSpot, it appears the game itself is on the verge of production. In a brief post late yesterday, 3D Realms chief George Broussard posted a teasingly brief message in the Prey forums on his company's site. "I smell gold," was all it said, but the implication was obvious--namely, Prey had been sent to the factory.

The timeframe for Prey going gold makes sense, as it will ship in three weeks on July 10. However, officially, the game has not yet been finalized. "No, I can't confirm that," a 3D Realms rep told GameSpot. "Officially, it hasn't happened yet."

That said, 3D Realms did give Xbox 360 owners something to do while they wait for the game's official gold announcement. The company has posted a detailed list of achievements for the game, many of which could be construed as spoilers.
