KOCH Media and Woburn Safari Park agree sponsorship and promotion deal to celebrate launch of Wildlife Park 2 for PC
KOCH Media Ltd has confirmed a series of adventurous activities this
summer with Woburn Safari Park to promote Wildlife Park 2 “ the most
authentic wildlife/safari simulation currently available on PC.
Wildlife
Park 2, which sees players delve into a spectacular safari experience
where the animals are the stars of the show through lifelike behaviour,
is being promoted throughout Woburn's extensive grounds in a number of
inventive ways. It is expected an estimated 150.000 visitors will visit
the popular safari park between the months of July and September.
This
joint deal will see a stampede of product placement to create awareness
for the game, including posters at the Adventure Ark, Undercover picnic
area, Rainbow landing entrance and Restaurant area; a banner on the
railway station barrier; and stickers on the popular swan boat rides.
Other
promotions include a major prize opportunity in which the park is
providing VIP ranger tours for competitions arranged by KOCH Media and
a mass flyer handout to all visitors who purchase tickets by Woburn
staff. Woburn Safari Park is also running a game banner on the front
page of its official web site and Wildlife Park 2 will be promoted in
Woburn's mid-July newsletter.
"Working with the team at KOCH
Media to promote Wildlife Park 2 has been a pleasure," said Cheryl
Williams, Marketing Manager at Worburn Safari Park. "Following a series
of constructive meetings, we have managed to implement several
interesting and unusual ways to make visitors to the park aware of the
game. In fact, many of the game's exciting features match the kinds of
activities that occur on a daily basis at the safari park."
Navid
Firouz, Product Marketing Manager at KOCH Media Ltd added: "Woburn
Safari Park was top of our wish list for Wildlife Park 2-related
promotional activity, and since agreeing the deal, we've been delighted
with how much awareness is being created at key locations around the
park."
