The release date for Undercover: Operation Wintersun, ANACONDA's
espionage thriller in Nazi Germany, is drawing ever nearer.
The
upcoming adventure game by Sproing is now in beta testing, where it's
put through its paces in the lead up to the release in September.
Gamers
will have the chance to gather a first playable look on Undercover:
Operation Wintersun at the upcoming GC Games Convention in Leipzig,
Germany (August 24 “ 27, 2006): Just visit the ANACONDA theatre in Hall
5, booth G02.
The year is 1943 and Undercover sees players take
on the role of British physicist Dr. John Russell, who is sent into the
lion's den by the MI6 to follow leads on German research into a
devastating weapon of mass destruction.
Russell is far from a
trained agent, but is accompanied by two MI6 operatives on his
dangerous foray into heavily guarded archives and secret research
facilities “ but can he trust them or are they pursuing their own
agenda?
The shocking truth is revealed in Berlin's
Heereswaffenamt: documents confirm that the Nazis are very close to
completing the development of a "uranium bomb" “ a nuclear device! The
new weapons system is already nearing the first test. Russell's mission
takes on a terrifying new dimension: his search for the production
facilities leads him right into the hands of a sinister German general,
who has his own fanatical plans with the powerful, new weapon

historic facts, framed both by authentic details and actual events, as
