Midway presents interactive entertainment of the future at GC 2006

Midway unveils line-up for Games Convention 2006, offering a revealing glimpse of the key trends in the international games industry.
Unveiling one of the most diversified and high powered lineups in its
company history, Midway, a leading interactive
entertainment software publisher and developer, announced today its
product portfolio to be shown at the annual Games Convention (GC),
August 23-27 in Leipzig. This year's lineup showcases proven brands
such as Unreal Tournament 2007 and Mortal KombatÃ': Armageddon;
exciting new properties such as Stranglehold; kid's properties like
Happy Feet and The Ant Bully along with full support for both
handheld and next generation game systems.
Stranglehold; a
trailblazing blockbuster which is being produced in cooperation with
the renowned all-out action film director John Woo and Hollywood star
Chow Yun-Fat, and The Wheelman, which sees Midway joining forces with
Vin Diesel, are just two of the highlights in Midway's production
pipeline. Also featured at the show will be Unreal Tournament 2007,
the continuation of the successful games series, as well as the
Hollywood tie-ins Happy Feet and The Ant Bully which Midway is
releasing under license from Warner Bros.
In addition to
showcasing their current games projects, Midway's CEO, David Zucker
will be giving media and industry representatives a fascinating glimpse
into global, cross-industry trends during a press conference entitled
"Games at a Crossroad: How to Move Ahead of Hollywood".

Stranglehold

Unreal Tournament 2007

Tournament 2007, is currently in development by Epic Games Inc. Fans
will be blown away by the next-generation game play, modifiability and
visuals that Epic's Unreal Engine 3 technology will bring to the
franchise.

the general storyline of the film, the player will be able to

The Ant Bully
(PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube, Game Boy Advance, PC; Fall 2006 "Nintendo Wii; November 2006) - Go pick on someone your own size! After
bullying an innocent ant colony, a young boy named Lucas is magically
shrunk down to ant size and embarks on a remarkable adventure. Play as
Lucas, experiencing the dangerous and thrilling life of an ant as you
battle, explore and forge new friendships with natives and other
