Consumers Challenged to Join the Groundbreaking PC Manufacturer for Hot Events, Latest Technology Demos and Game Releases
"Are you a player?" Alienware “ the leading manufacturer of
high-performance desktop, notebook, media center and professional
systems wants to know. The company is posing that question to consumers
and inviting them to "Come Out & Play" as part of a highly
interactive new campaign that challenges them to join Alienware for a
series of events, online gaming competitions and the release of
cutting-edge new technology and games. Serving as the nexus of the Come
Out & Play crusade is a special new website, located at
www.alienware.co.uk/prcoap, that gives gamers and PC enthusiasts everything they need to know so they can "bring it on" when they Come Out & Play.
"The
Come Out & Play campaign focuses on two critical strands of
Alienware's DNA: a commitment to innovation and a sense of fun and
excitement that makes gaming so irresistible for gamers," said Brian
Joyce, Senior Vice President at Alienware. "Whenever breakthrough
technology is introduced, Alienware is always first to feature it, and
whenever a much-anticipated new game is released, Alienware systems are
optimised for it. The “being there first' is very much the reason why
the Alienware brand has electrified gamers for nearly 10 years, and the
Come Out & Play campaign allows us to share our excitement with
consumers."
The Come Out & Play website will enable visitors
to flaunt their creativity by submitting pictures, videos or anything
else that best demonstrates how they play games, music, sports, etc.
Gamers will have an additional opportunity to show off their "true
player" status by being selected to go head-to-head against Alienware
employees in an epic battle for domination and bragging rights. These
exclusive online showdowns will be held on Alienware's dedicated game
servers, a world where skills are pushed to the limit and reputations
can be made or destroyed.
In addition, the Come Out & Play
website offers game demos and videos as well as a virtual peak inside
the Alienware hanger, where visitors can check out the newest systems
and pour through data on the latest technology. Alienware also is
orchestrating the infiltration of its integrated Come Out & Play
campaign into print advertising, online campaigns and special e-mail
offers via its weekly Alienware Insider electronic newsletter.
