Groupies following the Nintendo Fusion Tour have a new superstar to
watch for.
Nintendo's remarkable Wii console is joining the tour to
give video game and music fans a chance to play it before it launches
in the United States on Nov. 19 at an MSRP of $249.99.
The Nintendo Fusion Tour blends the best of hot new music and the
coolest new video games. Starting Sept. 27 at each of the tour's 35+
stops around the country, multiple Wii consoles will be hooked up and
ready to play, along with a variety of hot Nintendo DS games like
Elite Beat Agents. Concert attendees can pick up the unique Wii Remote
controller and start playing, regardless of their video game
experience.
Some of the Wii titles scheduled to make the rounds on the tour
include Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Wii Sports, Excite Truck,
WarioWare: Smooth Moves and Activision's Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam.
Note that the lineup of Wii games is subject to change without notice.
Hawthorne Heights headlines the 2006 Nintendo Fusion Tour, with support from Relient K, Emery, Plain White T's and The Sleeping.
