Sam & Max Animated Series Coming To GameTap!

That's right � even more Sam & Max content is coming to GameTap! Beginning this Thursday, October 12, episodes of the original "Sam & Max" animated series will be airing exclusively on GameTap.

Originally premiering in 1997 on Fox Kids, the series introduced the six foot dog and his manic rabbity-thing companion, who go about fighting crime, protecting the general public from the forces of evil and causing general mayhem with their unique brand of humor, to national TV audiences. Each week, GameTap will be adding an episode of this timeless cartoon series to GameTap TV, making it "must-stream" broadband TV alongside the more than 400 pieces of original programming currently available as part of the monthly subscription.

And that's not all! A special "Making of Sam & Max" original show is set to premier on GameTap TV, as well as a sweepstakes for all kinds of Sam & Max goodies. The more you watch, the better your chances.

On October 17, the first chapter in the episodic adventure game "Sam & Max: Season 1" debuts on GameTap. After the initial episode, five brand-new episodes will launch once-a-month starting in December and running through April. Each entertaining interactive episode will be available to GameTap subscribers as part of the monthly subscription rate of $9.95. Fifteen days after each month's debut on GameTap, the episodes will also be available for purchase for customers worldwide from the Telltale Games website, www.telltalegames.com

GameTap is a first-of-its-kind broadband entertainment network from Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (TBS, Inc.) which offers video games on-demand plus original programming via a broadband connected PC. For a low monthly fee, GameTap subscribers can enjoy unlimited access to more than 600 video games and 400 shows with new titles and programs added every week.
