BANDAI Games America Inc. today announced that Snoopy vs. The Red
Baron has gone gold and is scheduled to ship on October 24 for the
PS2, PC, and PSP systems.
Snoopy vs. The Red Baron takes
fun and adventure to new heights. Set in a world only he could dream
up, Snoopy once again imagines himself as the virtuoso flying ace on a
gallant quest to defend the skies from the evil Red Baron. Soaring
through the clouds in Snoopy's World War I bi-plane, the Sopwith Camel,
players find themselves engaged in sky-high dogfights, no-holds-barred
air races and daring missions behind enemy lines!

Snoopy as he battles side-by-side with his closest friend and confidant
Woodstock, as well as the other Peanuts characters, and powers up on as
much root beer as he can lay his paws on. Fly your way through six
vividly rendered worlds and battle in over 20 missions collecting clues
in an attempt to foil the plans of the villainous Red Baron!

Fact: Snoopy made his first on-air appearance as the World War I flying
ace piloting his Sopwith Camel in search of the Red Baron in the
featured television film,
It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown in 1966. This year marks the annual specials' 40th anniversary.
