TAPA Online will be launched by Unalis Corporation for closed beta test
in Taiwan from April 26 until May 8.
Applicants from Chinese speaking
markets are invited to help test the game prior to its release in Asia.
The
beta test phase will give players access to six battle maps and more
than 600 different weapons, armor and accessories. To master the game,
TAPA provides a training mode to players to learn more skills from
in-game NPCs and spar with computer opponents before fighting with real
players. Players can also try 4 different kinds of play modes:
Single survival mode: Up to 8 players can join a battle. The battle ends when there is only one survivor left.
Single advanced mode: Up
to 8 players can join a battle. Their hp starts from a very low level.
Each character gains more hp with each successful attack on an
opponent. The battle ends when one player gains full hp.
Group survival mode: This is a 4vs4 mode battle. The battle ends when one group is defeated. Boss mode: Fight until the leader of either group is defeated.
TAPA
is a very easy game to learn. Players just use a few keys on the
keyboard and fun is instantaneous. TAPA uses Peer server technology to
provide smooth and fast processing during operation. Players can do
battle with anyone through the Internet just as though they were
playing a fighting video game with friends at home.
The English
version beta test is still in the works. Unalis will confirm the test
date after the end of the Chinese version test.
