The Joan of Arc legend has served to inspire countless generations with its tale of divine intervention and individual fortitude in the face of overwhelming odds. This August comes Jeanne d'Arc for the PSP to reinterpret this classic saga and encourage a new crop of modern day warriors to follow their destiny.
This eye popping, tactical role-playing adventure takes place in the 15th Century where France and England are locked in battle during the Hundred Year's War. Here, a young crusader named Jeanne must not only defeat the English, she must also hold back a demonic army attempting to destroy the entire human world. It will take all of her strength, and powers beyond this world, to face down these challenges and free her homeland once and for all.
Level-5, renowned creators of both Rogue Galaxy and the Dark Cloud series, are set to storm North America with Jeanne d'Arc. This is the first title on a portable system that delivers the ultimate and immersive role-playing experience fans have come to expect from this developer. Known for their unique visual style and rich story telling, Level-5 has crafted a tale that engages the eyes and heart in equal measure. Influenced by the tale of Joan of Arc, this epic marries fantasy and reality with an intricate combat system to construct a world filled with brilliant 3D graphics, unique storyline, and the ultimate in strategy gameplay.
Jeanne is but one of the 14 available characters, some human, some mystical in nature, who you will control to help recapture the French homeland. Command up to seven warriors at a time in strategic turn based battles and access eight upgradeable weapon types as you traverse through more than 40 highly detailed environments.
