GUN (PC) - Review

At first sight, this game looks like your typical shooter. Upon a second look this game reminds me of the Grand Theft Auto games. Although you have a main storyline to follow, there are also a large amount of side missions to complete. This also brings me to the first downside of the game. The main storyline mission constantly nags you to return to where you need to go to continue while you run side missions. The game is also very straight line mode. To clarify when I say straight line I mean there is one way and one way only to the end. Although the ability to not do side missions gives you a small amount of open-endedness, you will quickly learn they become necessary in order to win against some enemies.

One thing that really impressed me with this game is the next to nothing load times. Granted this is on a high end machine, but even on a system with just over the minimum specs the load times are still very low.
